ルイス・コンフォート・ティファニー　の　ステンドグラス
Madonna of the Flowers
マドンナ・オブ・ザ・フラワーズ（花にかこまれた聖母）
です。

カナダのトロント・ステンドグラス社によるレプリカ（複製）です。
ガラス製、　フレームは金属製です。

フラットなガラスに、　透過性エナメルペインティングで彩色され、　表面に起伏があります。
焼成処理を経ているので、　年月がたっても　色褪せすることはありません。
ハンドメイド品です。

オリジナルは、　ボストンの　Arlington Street Church（アーリントン通り教会）
にある
SARAH C. GUILD MEMORIAL WINDOW（サラＣギルド記念のウィンドウ）　1899年作
です。

下側の周囲に
Guild Memorial Window

1992 Toronto Stained Glass
カナダ製
と記されています。

典型的な聖母のポートレートとは異なり、　ユニバーサルな女性・母性を表わし、　
花は人間と自然とを繋ぐ精神的なものとして描かれて　慈愛にあふれ、とても美しい作品です。
両脇はハープとヴァイオリンを奏でる天使たちです。
写真はネットからお借りしました。

サイズは、　直径： １６．５ｃｍ、　厚さ： ０．４ｃｍ
です。

トロント・ステンドグラス社（カナダ・ステンドグラス社）は、 グラスマスターズ社と同様に、
オリジナル・デザイン、　クラシック作品のレプリカ制作など、 
素晴らしいステンドグラス作品を制作していましたが、
既に閉鎖、　現在はありません。 

光に透かすと、　とてもきれいな色合いを見せるステンドグラスです。
精緻な作りと　存在感・質感があります。

吊り下げ用チェーン・フック付きです。
